LGBTQ+ Advance Care Planning: A Gift to Yourself and Your Loved Ones

  • Merlo Branch- Chicago Public Library 644 West Belmont Avenue Chicago, IL, 60657 United States (map)

Planning for the end of life can feel overwhelming, but it is critical to ensure that you get the care you want and avoid what you don’t want. This workshop will provide practical guidance and simple steps to take the guesswork out of advance care planning. Join Compassion and Choices volunteers for this in-person workshop featuring the new LGBTQ+ Advance Care Planning Toolkit, created in partnership with SAGE, the nation’s leading LGBTQ+ elders organization. You will leave with resources that you can use to help communicate your wishes to others.

This program is hosted by Compassion & Choices of Illinois, a national nonprofit organization, and the Chicago Public Library. To learn more about Compassion & Choices visit their website at compassionandchoices.org.

Presented by Nicole Daigle of the Chicago Death Doula Collective- windingpathdoula.com.
